The site focuses on product reviews of Chainsaws to provide and easy place to get information and compare and contrast across models and brands.

We break down each chainsaw by the following:

Application: What will you be using the chainsaw for? There is no point in buying a professional chainsaw if you are only going to use it once a year for maintenance.

Price: How much do you want to pay? Are you on a shoestring budget, mid-range or want to splash out on a High-End Chainsaw?

Brand: When buying a chainsaw to last you may want to look at whos making it. Maybe you want a household name like STIHL or Husqvarna or maybe you are not too fussed and care more about having a local dealer in your area.

Weight: Depending on how long you are using the chainsaw or your core strength you may want to make a buying decision based on weight. We try to break down chainsaw reviews by Lightweight, Mid Weight and Heavy Weight contenders.

Size: Depending on what your cutting the size of the chainsaw is a big factor to consider. You may be looking to do some basic yard work and a chain with a blade that is 10-inch Chainsaws or smaller. We have broken down out chainsaw sizes into the following ranges:

We have converted all CM or MM sizes into Inches to give you a better way to compare sizes. However, they may be some slight difference as a 14inch blade might be13.77 inches or 350cm

Types: Another big buying factor is the type of chainsaw. For home use, you might be happy with a Corded Electric Chainsaw or if you want to venture further afield maybe you should go with a Cordless/‎Battery Powered or Petrol/Gas model.
