FAQs
What is the best way to sharpen a chainsaw blade? I bought one of these and need to replace the blade, where may I get one from? What chainsaw sharpener should I purchase?
I’d go to your local garden equipment store and request a new blade for a 14 inch guide bar. They may be able to sharpen blades, but it’s probably better to buy a new one.
Does this come with chain/guide oil or does it need to be bought prior to use?
It doesn’t come with any oil.
Do you happen to know the chain gauge? Hyundai's helpline was unaware, and the instruction book didn't provide it.
The correct Chain gauge was / is printed on the tiny plastic bag in which the original chain was packaged ( Size: 3/8.050x52DL). The information I’ve copied to the instruction book.
Is it possible to cut a hedge limb at an angle, for example, 45 degrees, on average? Or is it necessary to use the saw vertically at all times
It doesn’t know if it’s cutting at 45 degrees or not, so all you have to do is make sure the branches don’t spring back at you.
