Does anybody know how to stop the oil dripping out during storage?
e oil tank during use creates a vacuum, once the saw has stopped work, the vacuum continues to push out oil by capillary action rather than mechanical action. To stop this action, place the saw on its side (bar in the air) after releasing the cap a little and re-screwing. A few minutes of the saw in this position will prevent any further leakage in storage. It’s not an unusual situation nor a fault but is easy to prevent by following the above steps.
Are the motor brushes replacable?
I checked the manual that came with saw, got web address, typed in parts, brushes, it brought it up as spareparts. See no problems getting parts via their webpage and aftersales.
