Does it come with oil?
This is not supplied with oil, but you can purchase it separately on Amazon, or from your local DIY store. Make sure you only buy chainsaw oil, some people say you can use cooking oil, NOT a good idea, and the correct oil isn’t expensive anyway. Just to say this a good bit of kit, works well for me, wish I had bought one earlier. Hope this info helps, happy sawing!
how long does it take to sharpen and how often do you need to do it?
That depends on the wood you cut. If you cutting through softwood it should stay sharp for ages if you cutting through hardwood it’s gonna get dull quicker. I probably got through about Three tonnes of Pine before I started to think about sharpening it.
Is there a limit to the length of extension lead you can use. I.e before it loses some power?
I have not encountered any problems and have used a hundred-foot extension
